Poe & Lovecraft - reborn as music
Raven Video Fragment
Poem by Edgar Allan PoeAllusion’s debut album, Séance, is a ritual in sound , the first project in history to set the complete words of Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft to music. This album does not merely draw inspiration from gothic literature, it brings it to life.
Using the original poems of Edgar Allan Poe and H.P. Lovecraft, their words have been set to music, giving voice to their verses and summoning their worlds through sound, transforming them into haunting soundscapes and atmospheric songs.
This dark progressive rock/metal work, enriched with elements of ambient, classical, and gothic folk, summons their voices anew, transforming poetry into songs.
