ABOUT

The Allusion Quartet is based on a collaboration between Antreas Yerolatsitis on guitar and Omiros Miltiadous on drums. In 2022, after many years of playing together in different band settings, styles and concepts, they created the quartet inviting Marios Charalampous on tenor saxophone and Kyriacos Kesta on double bass. Their music has influences from many genres such as jazz, pop, funk, blues, modal and free. Improvisation and spontaneity, collectiveness and interplay are some features of their style. The band has already performed in all major stages in Cyprus, as well as the biggest Jazz festivals such as Aglanjazz 2023 and Paradise Jazz Festival 2023. The group recorded their first studio album called Odyssey in August 2023.
